What is stored in your browser
| Name | Where | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
lang |
cookie | your language (RU / EN); set only when you choose a language — with the switcher or via a link to another language version | 1 year |
ogx-theme |
localStorage | light or dark theme; stays in your browser, never sent to the server | until you clear site data |
These are technical settings — without them the site cannot remember your choice. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
Visit statistics
Instead of Google Analytics or Yandex.Metrica the site uses its own counter. It keeps aggregate numbers only: how many times pages were opened per day, which pages, and which sites visitors came from (domain only, e.g. t.me).
- No cookies are used and IP addresses are not recorded.
- To count unique visitors per day, the counter hashes the IP address and browser together with a random salt that changes daily. At the end of the day the salt and hashes are deleted, so visits from different days cannot be linked and the address cannot be recovered.
- Aggregate numbers are kept for 90 days. Bots and my own visits are not counted.
Server logs
Like any web server, this one keeps a technical request log: IP address, time, page address, response code, the site you came from and the browser string. The log is there to protect the site — to notice an attack or track down a bug.
It is size-limited (up to 30 MB): old entries are overwritten automatically. The log is not used for analytics and is never shared.
Who receives data
- Nobody. The site runs on the owner's own server in Russia — no hosting provider, CDN or cloud services.
- The HTTPS certificate is issued by Let's Encrypt — no visitor data is sent to it.
- If you follow an external link (Telegram, GitHub), their own policies apply. The site tells them only the domain ogurexxx.ru, not the page you came from.
